I picked up one of these MET-Rx Big100 Meal Replacement Bars yesterday at the store.... chocolate chip cookie dough tasted pretty damn good for a mrb....here is the nutrition info

are those the only ingredients..cause i doubt it. Bars aren't good for you. Its nothing more than a candy bar with vitamins and more protein in it.
If you need MRP...make it out of real food....personally i make Troy's pancakes as Mrp....cans of tuna,salmon are another...and i make my shake MRPS with whey and milk...how many mrps do you need?

Scott,I have to agree with Max on this one. Most bars aren`t all they`re cracked up to be, and I personally wouldn`t trust the labels as far as macros go,lot`s contain hidden carbs/sugars. They are calories dense, and sugar laden, and a can of tuna ,while not as tasty, costs lesss ,delivers more protein with no carbs, and is a hell of a lot better for your overall progress. The only time I would advise eating a bar is if I was in a pinch and didn`t have access to any food. Carrying your food with you prevents this from happening too often!! We have had some good threads concerniong bars inj the past and if you do a search on the board you`ll find some good info.

if i have to pick a bar..i 'll go for a payday bar or something of a sort....or Hersheys with almonds.
Why did you want to try the bars anyway?
