I saw one of this guy's diet...I call him MR. SHANE. He has basic proteins all day long..and then at his last meal..he eats 10oz sweet potato, 1banana, plus oatmeal. I was wondering..how this works. Does he like drain all his muscle to 0 muscle glycogen working out..? This isn't something i would like to try..but i was just curious as how this works. www.shanepower.com/hardenin1.htm

This guy needs some serious complex carbs in his diet whether "harrdening up" or not.
His training and recovery will surely suffer and he will not get good pumps,eating this way.

Though I wouldn`t personally follow Shane`s type of dieting,he`s doing something right because he`s got a damn good physique !! Very impressive.

I didn't click on the link.. but i'd reckon its a spinoff of a keto diet.. specifically the ckd. Where one deplets for example 5 days and carbs up for 2 days.
I have no idea of the amt of weights he does to deplete his muscle and liver glycogen to ketogenic levels.. i'm assuming he's dieting too. But in one day, its quite hard to go into ketosis which on average takes anywhere from 24-36 hours of no carbs.. again, his workout may hasten the carb depletion.

At first I thought it was only utilzed in the last few days before the show as a "carb-up" from depletion... but then he said he does this offseason to lean out. Not conducive to maintaining/growing muscle. T
