ok, my parents are fairly un caring of my bodybuilder lifestyle and how i diet, they help out some but they end up not making me-friendly meals alot and stuff.
they are taking us to a chinese resteraunt tomorrow, and i'm on a cut. what should i order? i don't want to take in alot out of the ordinary but chinese food is alot different than chicken and broccoli...

hahah..you should of came to me.... ;D If you come to my house..i'll cook you the meanest Home cook authentic chinese food you've ever eaten. THE REAL DEAL....not the americanize sh*t. ;D Okay...for one watch the sauce...chinese sauses such as Hoisin, Char Siu...etc.. have sugar in them. The only sause i've seen that doesn't is something called Shrimp Sause. I like it..but it might be a bit salty for you... Second...look for dishes with colors...its usually the best thing you can get because of the vegetables. Don't worry about eating rice...rice is good ..i eat it all the time. (obviously) watch the beef...it could be fatty...i would stick with seafood such as shrimp, or maybe chicken. Tofu is good too. Just watch the SAUCE ..that's the most important thing...as the dish could have the bulk of its calories from the fatty sauce. Any more questions..just ask.

The one reason I avoid Chinese cooking, or really any european based cooking, is because there is never enough meat for me. I like rice, but would much rather load up on the meat. But maybe they'll have a buffet style restaurant? If so, meat meat meat!!! ;D But as Tim said, it's only one meal. Depending on your last cheat day, it's probably beneficial that you load up on some junk/carbs.

i loaded up due to a little lack of self-discipline, it sure did taste good tho. but now it gave me heartburn. oh well, super strict till thanksgiving, god i can't wait to bulk

If you are worried about the sodium thing &/or water retention, pop 3 dandelion root caps before your Chinese food fest and 3 after. Works like a charm.

Count yourself lucky just like Tim Wescott my dad would beat me and call me a fag when I would try and work out when I lived at home .I had to join the Army to be able to lift and not be called gay.And to this day he still does not like it.
