okay guys i cant sleep so i was sitting here having a yummy egg white omelet and i was thinking about a conversation i had with someone on the fatkins (atkins)diet about carbs in eggs so im asking you guys on the board do you count your eggs or egg whites i think a egg is suspossed to be 1 gram of carbs and an egg white is suspossed to have 0.5

Dude,there may be a tiny trace amount of carbs but nothing to worry about!! :Head Scratch:
Eggwhites and eggs in general, are an almost perfect food, containing the highest biological value of any other protein source out there........bar none!! :Rocker Dude:

I personally use egg beaters (pasteurized eggs) and drink them in their liquid form..
Don't taste that bad either!

No i dont count the carbs of egg or vegetable... even in my pre-contest diet.
PS: And i dont count protein in vegetable, bread or things like that!

Not a problem bro,and I do the same thing as Mo,I do not count fibrous vegetables in my total carb count for the day, unless I am trying to acheive ketosis ,when I of course consume no carbs at all.
Trace amounts of protein like that which is found in oatmeal,and ceertain grains, are not complete proteins, and although they do contribute to your total consumed per day, I do not waste my time counting them individually!!

eggs are the best natural balance of fat and protein together. cant go wrong with eggs ever.
i do have a ? tho. i eat about 3-4 eggs a day. 2 whole eggs and 2 egg whites every morning. should i worry about cholesterol or anything of that nature?

In a word..........NO !! ;D
Your body produces more natural cholesterol than could be contained in that small amount of eggs.
Worry more about saturated fat content instead..........there are bodybuilders who literally eat dozens of eggs daily with no cholesterol problems.

I just let Fitday do all the work...it even counts out the net carbs..so it gives you the amount of total carb calories....without the fiber..
Eggs are the absolute best protein source. I can eat 12 whole eggs in a day and won't get sick of it.
Pack with nutrients....i prefer eggs over any other protein sources out there....except maybe...ehhh...Buffalo Milk (if there is such thing)....or Ostrich Egg.. ;D
