Most people I know avoid milk while sick, because it makes them more congested. Personally, I'd have it while sick. But I haven't been sick in about 8 years, so I can't honestly say if I've done it or not.

i just got sore throat...and and bit of heat in the head...feels like a fever is about to come. Was just wondering if i can drink the milk for the calories. I'm afraid i'll also have to skip gym until i feel better...
Am currently taking 2 x1000mg of Vit. C a day. And drinking as much water as i can.

I have no clue Max.......try taking the Vit. C at 500 mgs. 4 x a day .
It`s water soluble so you will excrete it in your urine, and taking it in smaller dosages, at timed intervals, will insure that it is in your system longer.

Too much vit C will give you the sh!ts..Try some extra zinc and some echinacea( boosts immunity).Drink alot of fluids mostly water.The more fluids you have the less thick phlegm will be during a sinus infection.

I never had that problem before with Vit. C !!

Max, if you're not lactose intolerant, go for it!! Milk is extremely nutritious in MANY vitamins and minerals, not to mention its protein value.
And, it will coat your throat which might help a bit.
