For pre contest diet I normally use Flax and Fish oil with 2-3 meals a day depending on what I eat that day. Now I have started taking CLA with these 2 and I have noticed my waist being smaller at the end of the day. Now I know people say that that there is not enough scientific study on humans and is not proven. For me it seems to help. I am not sure if it is someting I should cycle in and out or just keep taking it. Well I am going to keep taking it as my show is next week and don't have time to experiment. Lets see what happens?
Has anyone els used CLA and did it help?

Carl, my apologies if you already know this, but the results of everything I've read on CLA has been very promising, at the right doses (6-9 + grams/day). It's gotta be very similar to the ALA in Flaxsee oil anyway. Better from most studies I've seen. I've used it once at 6 Grams/day split into 2-3 doses w/ my normal flax or almonds. Without changing my diet I seemed to have increased stamina (didn't get as tired at the end of the day) and I lost a few pounds in just a month, month and a half using it.

the animal data is very convincing, the human data not so much. I think it has merit, but I think results are not as noticible in humans as rats only live 2 years so everything tends to happen 30X faster for them

Kyle- it helps with stamina for you eh, not me tho. I have done some research which is a good point by str8flexed most studies were on rats and their results are about 30x faster than humans so the evidence is not totally convincing to me yet.
I am going to keep taking it tho. ;D

Carl, I noticed that at night after my long long day I didn't seem to crash out at night. I was productive around the house more.
