Is there any advantage in putting Protein Powder in your food?
I slept in this morning and kinda did things backwards, lol.
I had a Tuna roll (at work) in the morning then at lunchtime i had some Porridge Oats but put some protein powder in with it.
I was just wondering if it was worthwhile doing that or pretty pointless.
I wont be having that for lunch every day, but when i have have Porridge Oats in the morning i could maybe add the powder then.
Just brainstorming with myself here, lol.....

I mix my protein powder and water in with Fiber ONE for breakfast. It tastes good! I also get my 25 grams of protein I need. I def think it is worth it.

Pre contest... i'm the North America's #1 buyer of fiber one! I love them... at least during the period of time where i cant have any sugar in my food... during off-season i hate them ! Chris, having protein powder in your food can be a good option if the ratio of Protein/carbs/fat is not adequate for you in a specific food… by adding the power you'll be able to determine the nutriment of every meal!

Most of the time, if I'm having protein powder, I'll just mix it straight with agua. I've been known to mix it in with cottage cheese, or yogurt, and other liquid-y foods. But if I'm going to have protein powder, I'd rather drink it like a shake. If you don't mind the taste/texture, it won't hurt to mix it with/on food. I'm skeptical about Optimum's AnyWhey protein though. They say you can cook with it, use it as a fondue or many other possible things. I think the heat from being in an oven will further destroy the protein, as it's already been through that at least one time if not a number of times.

Ok, thanks guys. It actually did taste quite good having it that way. I had it the normal way with just water when i got home from the gym tonight too. Not a huge fan of having it with water but i can get through it if its gonna help.
