Which do you prefer and why? I'm getting ready for a show right now and want to see what everyone else uses.
Thanks, Joe

I use instant as a rule...............just for the coneinience.
At times I`ll use old fashioned but not too often.
Whole oats,or steel cut oats, are better for you, as they are not processed, but you can`t beat instant for the simplicity of cooking.

Hi Joe, I also use instant... since i'm not eating for taste anymore , the only two factors to detrmine my oatmeals are: 1- Is it Whole grain? 2- Is it Quick to cook? If the answer is Yes to both... it's on my grocery basquet! Mo

Ditto on the old fashioned oats. Scoop up half a cup, throw enough water into the container or bowl, microwave for a minute, watch it bubble up a little so I know it cooking and voila! Add splenda and eat.
