Should i get up and drink a zero carb shake , or should i eat some fish, or some egg whites every three to four hours of sleep, to keep my metabolism going? Thanks.

Here's my thoughts: it's a good idea as long as it doesn't interfere with your sleep.
If it affects your sleep then it's not worth it in my opinion.

Good advice from naturalguy as usual.
Here`s my take on it..............it`s not a bad idea ,but since you are dieting for a contest and already eating 6 x a day plus training and doing cardio,your metabolism should already be stoked like a fat burning furnace...............best case scenario anyway.
As long as you are getting in enough protein during the day,I wouldn`t sweat it...................you are trying to cut calories,which amounts to eating less food overall,why add more calories to the mix.......... and a good nights sleep is vital with all the dieting,training, and extra cardio we do pre-contest.
Just my opinion .

I read Hilary Swank did just that to prepare for Million Dollar Baby. I wouldn't do it though, I love to sleep too much.

I didn't try this after consideration, its hard enough for me to force down enough food during the day. I think my body deserves a little break and a restfull nights sleep is essential

metabolism doesn't really work like that... you don't really get a significant increase in calorie burning by eating more frequently
