so far, in a plan to rid myself of some bodyfat, i took some of your tips into consideration and i tried to clean my diet up best i could.
this is what ive done
6:00 am - protein shake, banana 7:30 am - 6 egg whites, 2 whole eggs, low-sugar oatmeal 10:00 am - can of tuna or cottage cheese 12:30 pm - salad with 6 oz grilled chicken, eggwhites, avocado 2:30 pm - protein shake 5:30 pm - gym 7:00 pm - dinner (usually 6-8 oz meet or chicken, 3 cups of romaine lettuce with no dressing) 10:00 pm - shake
sits right about 240 protein, 120-140 carbs, 35-45 fats
how is it looking so far in terms of ratios to carbs proteins and fats? should i add in cardio to jump start my fat burning furnace?
i was thinking of doing sprints in HIIT format.

Looks good Steve!! However,I would eat some complex carbs with your dinner as it is your post-workout meal.Yams,brown rice,or a baked potato.........very crucial at this meal. In fact,I would add complex carbs in small amounts to meals 2 +3 also,then eat salads or veggies at the other meals and no complex carbs late at night. At your 10:00 PM meal,since you`ve had 2 shakes already,I would eat cottage cheese,tuna,or 4-6 oz. of chicken breast. Other than that it looks great to me.

yea i was iffy about the shake at night, since ive already had 2 during the day. the cottage cheese might be the better choice for the casein.
for my lunch at 12:30, should i add a small amount of brown rice to my salad, i think that might help keep me full till the 2:30-3:00 mark.
i was trying to keep the carbs low because i want to drop the body fat, some days i hit 140 carbs, and other i hit like 35-40. at first it was difficult to do this, but not that im in the swing of it, it really isnt that bad.

The rice would be fine..........as well as the cottage cheese IMO.
