When I have to run around town I carry a cooler with usually a whey shake so that I can get by for a couple of hours. I used to carry bars as well but I dont use them much anymore. When I run into trouble is when I will be gone for several hours and I dont want drink too many shakes in a day.
What do others do while out of the house for long periods? Whats in your cooler?

Every morning before I leave for school/work, my cooler is packed with 4-5 meals in tupperware. People used to think I was quite odd (and probably still do) but I don't get comments anymore about it, so I guess thats a good sign #bfridgesmiley1ym# #bfridgesmiley1ym#

Cans of tuna, chicken breast, lean ground beef, salad or veggies. Thats pretty much what I take to work with me.

My cooler I bring to work I got 3 meals. Mostly chicken breast, eye bottom round steaks, mad veggies and some yams. YUMMY!!

just have your meals planned out and you'll be forced to eat real meals.
then again...2-3 MRP won't hurt

I cook all my meals at night for the next two days....usually beef,rice, and broccoli. Yes, I probably eat 1 and 1/2 to 2 pounds of beef daily.

I cook my meals two days in advanced but sometimes running around town I dont have access to a microwave. I need some more stuff I can eat cold???

You can eat chicken and beef cold.

I prepack a few tuperwares for breakfast, 2 snacks, and lunch.
A typical day would consist of: egg whites, oatmeal, 8 oz of OJ, 1 Protein Shake, NF yogurt, maybe a homemade protein bar, mixed nuts, banana or green apple, mixed veggies, some kind of meat (tuna, beef, or chicken), either baked sweet potatoes or brown rice, and a hell of a lot of water.
BTW: I use a collapsable beer cooler (no BS) I got from Sam's Club. It can hold approx. 36 cans of beer! So I have no problem packing up my food.
The only comment I usually get is: "HOLY CRAP THAT'S HUGE!!" At which I respond "THANK-YOU VERY MUCH...I KNOW. #bcrazylaugh4ua#

I work in an office and those guys are used to going to FATDONALDS or bugerking for lunch but then have the nerve to say.. wow thats a big cooler your gonna get fat or soemthing eating all that #athumbsdown9vd# #bcrazylaugh4ua#
