I have recently been dieting for 6 weeks and after hitting a plateau and droping cals again im gonna give carb cycling a try. Before i was eating around 102 carbs a day so I'm gonna start that for day one. So here is how it will look, all input is appreciated.
102 86 53 136 180
Also, after day five do you have to go back and start at day 1, cuz i would prefer on sat and sun to just take in around 50 carbs if that, is that ok or will it throw it off?

Also, do you guys keep cardio the same on all days regardless of carb intake?

Welcome to the board!! Personally,I would continue cycling as you wrote it. That is what makes it effective......besides,you do need some carbs to help spare protein. It`s only 102 and 86 on those days...not really high at all.

Thanks for the quick replies guys! So i just continue my cycle? I scheduled my highest day for leg day, but if i keep rotating it it wont be on leg day, and plus on weekends i dont do much, and in my previous diet i only took in around 50, should i still rotate or keep low?

You can definately alter it to fit your schedule by having more carbs on your hader training days..............not a problem,but just try to make it 3 low followed by 2 higher days.

Ok Kool, well this is what i think i am going to do: 102 86 53 136 180 60 25 -The last two being weekends, this will enable me to keep my scheduled training days, and also the same food eaten, which is a huge plus considering school 4 days a week and work. Thanks for all the input once again.

Looks OK....just adjust if necessary according to your fat loss,and energy levels.

Will do, also how often do you eat? I used to eat every 2.5 hours but now am bumping it up to every 3 hrs, is that kool?

Right now it depends on what I ate at the previous meal........................sometimes 2-2.5,but generally I eat every 3 hours.

One more quick Q, do you up fats on lower days at all or just leave everything the same with the exception of lower carbs?

I never used to,but now,since my bodyweight is low,and I`m about 1.5 weks out from my contest,I find it helps in that it keeps calories up a bit. Normally I wouldn`t, but after much thinking,I think it`s a good thing,but I`d personally do it in the latter stages of the diet. I don`t think it would hurt either way,as long as they were "good" fat sources.

Yes they are a good source of good fats.
Be careful not to go overboard, as they are calorie dense .

I love this carb cycling diet, the best thing about it is after you hit your lowest day, the every day after that seems like a cheat day since there is carbs even though i am still eating good complex carbs, i love it

Also, how bad are sugar alcohols? I found a low carb syrup, and it has 7g of sugar alcohols in it, i mix it 50-50 with water though
