I know you're suppose to eat about 1hr after your PWO shake.
But what is the "window of opportunity".
I never really understood what it meant and how it affects the body differently if i just skip it?

Max, the "window of opportunity" is the ideal time frame in which you should eat your PW shake/meal.
Some say immediately following your training=shake,then 1 hour or so later,a high protein,high carb,meal minus fats.
There are many other opinions, but the shake immediately after training,seems to be almost universal.

Dood, when you bust your ass in the gym, your body uses up tons of nurtriants and stuff when you workout and that's the best time to replenish it. That is why many say that is the best time. That window is best so your body absorbs the protein, carbs, and wahtever else you up in there (BCAA, Glut, Creatine) and thus helps you GROW!
