I am what is known as a creatine non-responder. I also find it hard to maintain my strength so I need a supplement to help me along at least through my mass building phase that I am due to start within the next month-6 weeks Any suggestions or recommendations?

What kind of creatine have you tried? The newer CEE creatines are great. I use Smash by Axis labs, pre workout. Great stuff

you know..bodyfx has made his own supplement at trueprotein.com.
i've now have 5 jugs of it. Go on trueprotein.com and search Cell Swell Matrix.
Its a combo of CEE , Glutamine, and BCAAS.

I am eagerly awaiting for my Cell Swell Matrix to arrive! How is it working for you Max?
beckie, you might want to try some of the transport formulas out there or make sure you "spike" your insulin levels with a high glycemic carb when you take your creatine. This new stuff from bodyfx might be the ticket I'll let you know when I use it for a few weeks!

i am still not too sure...as it is still within my 1st week on it.
But so far...my performance in the gym with some of the lifts have improved alot!
The weights i did before...and was kind of hesitant about going up in weight...i went up in weight anyway...cause i thought what i did felt light.
I also think recovery has improved...as i don't feel sore on some bodyparts much anymore.

How does Bodyfx suggest one use this cell swell matrix? Is it as a pre workout or a post recovery drink?
I didn't see much results from monohydrate, except for it was near impossible for me to get enough fluids. I am trying DiCreatine Malate via iss Satur8 rush and an able to handle that much better.

Best times for use are before breakfast, pre-training meal, and final meal of the day. When dieting, a 1/2 serving taken before every meal may help keep blood sugar stable and appetite under control."

Beckie, i am not a supplement expert, but from what i understand, being a creatine non-responder is NOT a bad thing! In fact, you do not respond to creatine because your body's creatine level is already full… so good for you, you dont need to pay for a cratine supplement! And as far as maintaining or increasing your strength during a mass building phase… i would say that it's all about food, supplements can help a bit, but the major part, the core of your strength will be in relation with your nutrition!
