Can any of you guys provide with either a site or something that would give a typical bodybuilders diet? I have read magazines, articles, etc.. but would really like to see something from a "real" person.. in other words I don't need to know what the pros eat- I need to find a basic diet by someone maybe in the State-level ranks or something? I'm not a stranger to what the right foods are- I just don't know what quantities are typical for someone at my stage of this.and what to eat together. I'm 5'9, 195lbs and take plently of supplements. Help guys, help!

Did you check some of the training logs here? I know myself, Hoss amnd i think chan post what we eat and how much. Im 5'10 and i started at 191 and am now down to 162.. Some of those may help with what you are looking for.....

Mike,your diet obviously depends on your goals..............very different eating for size as opposed to eating for cuts.
A basic diet would consist of clean foods,with protein at a minimum of 1 gram per pound of bodyweight per day,and a good place to start with carbs is 2 grams per pound of bodyweight per day.............spread over multiple meals eaten approximately every 3 hours or so.
Keep fats low, and get them from good sources.
Water/liquid intake = very high throughout the day.
If you showed us what you`re eating now on a typical day, and what your goals are we could probably help you out quite a bit.

Whats your metabolism like? The faster it is the more cals you will need! There are LOADS of journals on the OCB board www.fitnessandphysique.ipbhost.com that have pretty good detail on what they eat for different stages of the season....
