I just got my order today from trueprotein and can't wait to try it. I plan on taking 1 scoop of waxy maize along with a serving of BODYFX-CSM Cell Swell Matrix pwo, then a whey shake 20 minutes later. From what I've read Waxy Maize starch replenishes glycogen much faster then say dextrose due to its ablility to bypass the stomach and be absorbed by the intestines immediately. I will let you know how it works out.

my gf is a nurse and has access to glucose injections. should i just use these post-workout for glucose replenishment? ? #woohoo8ad#

Okay. Just had my Waxy Maize. 1 scoop mixed with Refill and Crystal light. Tasted fine that way. I will pound a Whey + Malto/ Dextro shake in a few minutes. This seems to be the way to use this stuff from waht I gathered

Yesterday was my first crack at the waxy maize. I had 1 scoop with a serving of BodyFx's mix. 20 minutes later I had a whey only shake then a regular pwo 2 meal an hour later. My muscles felt quite full after taking it in and I didn't feel at all lethargic which is common with dextrose. I plan on taking in 2 scoops pwo once I switch up my diet for the winter and see if I notice and reasonable difference.

Awesome stuff. Use it to carb up. Make sure you mix enough water with it. I think it is something like 32 ounces per scoop. Waxy maize gets into the muscle so fast that it pulls all the water with it. I was getting dry mouth about 2 or 3 minutes after I drank it every time. nHere is some info on it:

Randy, it's actually pretty easy my man. Here are a few ways you can go:
1) Immediately post workout use: BCAA/Glut/Creatine + 20-40 Grams WMS 20-40-mintues later use: 40+ Grams Whey Protein & 30+ Carbs (depending on goals) from whatever you want basically
2) Immediately post workout use something like ALRI Regeneration X 30-Minutes later use Whey Protein + Waxy Maize
3) Use th eRegen X + 20-40 Grams Waxy Maize 30-min later use whey & another carb source
Here is what I do guys (pre contest): Immediately Postworkout ALRI RegenX (BCAA/Glut/CEE/Insuligenic/Carb Source = 20 carbs) 30-minutes later 40 Grams Whey + 40 Grams Waxy Maize Starch
Here is what I"m going to do off season Immediately post workout RegenX + 20 Grams Waxy Maize 30-minutes later - 40 Grams Whey + 40 Grams from White Rice/Brown Rice Combo

Okay. Used it tonight with some Cell Mass (Until my Regen RX comes in) I will have whey and oats or potato in a little while
