AS noted in some of my other posts..wor king on this bulking up thang right now, and my nutritionist (Dr. Chris Mohr) has a lot of dairy in the diet. I've never really had any offical lactose intolerance before, but I'm wondering of all this milk is causing the bloatedness I feel. I've triad the lactiad pills, before drinking. No difference. I've also tried the Lactaid Milk. Same thing, no difference. I'm ok with yogurt, cottage cheese, etc. Will eliminate the milk for a few days to try to see if it makes a difference. Anyone have any thoughts on the subject? Similar problems? SUggestions? How about you Timbo?

I, myself have dairy issues. I cannot even use milk in my protein shake...gotta us good ole' water. One thing Tim recommended to me quite a while ago are papaya enzymes. They are chewable and you can pick them up, literally, anywhere. They work 90% of the time for me. I think I bought then at GNC for a few dollars. ;D

I never tired that! I'll pick some up this weekend and see what happens!
I've been using sugar free kool-aid instead in my shakes. Need some kind of flavor!
The only downside is it looks like I'm wearing red lipstick all the time in the gym! ;D

I have the same issues with both dairy and wheat as well. I take a Super Enzyme that aids in the break down of all food types, but they only help to a point. I have also tried the papaya enzymes (pretty much the same thing). Cottage cheese and yogurt I'm OK with, but milk - only skim and no more than one serving a day if that. As for wheat, I just try to stay away from it. As far as the "cool aid" - nice cover My bf adds flavor crystals that he purchases when he orders our stuff. But me, I just take them as they are. My kids say I should go on fear factor - I would have no problems eating the gross stuff they serve up to the contestants ;D

The milk, whether it's Non-fat, 1 %, 2%, whatever, still bloats by abdomen and makes my intestines feel like crap. Is it an old age thing Tim? ;D

I have the same problem Frank-milk just makes me feel horrid and I'm fine with yogurt.... I'd just ditch the milk if I were you
