I've been using No Explode for the last month and like it, specially since I work out at 5:00 a.m.
Seems that many supplements need to be "cycled" because they lose their effectiveness after awhile. Is No Explode in this catogory? How long should I stay off it?
If I do need to cycle it, what is a good substitute? I use to use coffee before No Explode.

I also love No Explode... and although the cycle period is going to be different for everyone, I believe you wont feel the same focus and drive using it after 5-6 weeks... but you'll have to experiment and see.
If you want to substitute it, just make sure you dont use something that contain lot of cafeine and Argenine if you want No Explode to be as effective when using it again a couple of weeks later. Personnaly, i just dont use anything during my No explode break

For the sake of sheer preworkout kick and adrenanline rush, i believe No-Explode remains one of the very best. Minutes after taking it you can actually feel the surge. I remember when I graduated upto 3 scoops, Man!! i used to feel like tearing someone apart, mindbending rage in the gym so yes you made a right choice by taking No-Explode. Now the downfall.....Although you can cycle to 3 months on 1 month off, the effects start to diminish after 6 weeks or so. Also i recollect when i went off it i felt immediate drop in my intensity, lack of concentration, felt low and not as charged up when i was on it....all these factors affected my strength levels too. This made me believe i was addicted to it. This lasted for about 2 weeks or so but after that i was right on track. Randy is absolutely right about VPX Shotgun....probably the best outthere and with list of things which they have added it is a unbeatable product. Even experts like BodyFX speak highly of it. I highly recommend it.

I dont know about the idea of cycling No Explode with No Shotgun. Even if the last one is an excellent product, or even a better product than No Explode, i would not alternate using those two similar products. If your body get used to one of those (get used to the cafeine, argenine, etc), cycling with the other wont be very efficient in my opinion. So i would say try both, decide which one you like best, and use it for a 6 to 8 weeks cycling with a completely different product (tribulus or regular creatine or... nothing) for a couples of weeks.

Agree with Mo, you'd basically be cycling 2 very similar products.
I use Explode continually, I don't cycle. The only thing I think you'd get used to is the caffeine. I just don't take it on non-training days which I think contributes to its effectiveness pre-workout.

No, No, guys. BIG difference here. The Shotgun will make you never go back. I use one scoop of Shotgun per workout. Thats all it takes. I would need 3 scoops of explode. Its a toally different feel. The spill over effect is what really rocks. No Explode works for the moment, but the Shotgun continues to build up in your system day after day. + for only 30 bucks for 30 servings, what are ya gonna do? 1 buck a workout. I have never stood behind any Supplement before. This has got to be one of the best out there.

Personally, I prefer superpump 250. The combo of superpump 250 before my workouts and Sizeon after resulted in amazing, pumps, increased energy and good strength gains. I don't mean to sound like a Gaspari ad here, but I have tried NO Shotgun, NoXplode, Shock Therapy, Buzzsaw (Trueprotein), as well as several others.
I will say that NO Shotgun with a followup of Vitargo after the workout is a good alternative, but for me - Superpump and Sizeon is the way to go!

I use super pump also. i switch off week to week with NO Shotgun.
