How many people here believe in consuming a midnight meal/snack. I for one started it just recently since I have been doing DC and feel it definitely prevents catabolism and at the same time I did feel it did contribute in adding muscle mass too. I do get up in the middle of the night to quench my thirst Currently I have 8 meals a day and this being my last meal. Here is what I have
Whey protein shake mixed with milk, small cup of yogurt, 2 gms of fish or flax oil. Intend to use 5 gms of BCAA's with this as well. Let's see what happens.
What do you guys have.......

What do you guys have....... As far as a midnight meal goes, if I wake up, I have one. Not as much food as you but I'll either have a shake or usually it's a small glass of 1% mild and a PB&J (and a quick jump on the net to WOTW). I have done this frequently enough now to notice a difference the next day. I don't wake up feeling as flat/depeleted and it definately helps with size. I usually go for the regular food and not a shake since my wife does not appreciate hearing the roar of the blender in the middle of the night.

Only in the off season, not during contest prep. 1 cup cottage cheese, mixed with 1 cup of non-fat vanilla yogurt and grapes, all mixed in together! YUM!
