Citrus Mint Iced Tea Homemade iced tea is cheaper and less sweet than the store-bought variety.
Plus, it's full of fresh flavour and takes only minutes to make.
Garnish the glasses with orange slices and mint leaves.
6 black or green tea bags 1/2 cup (125 mL) fresh mint leaves 3 slices each orange, lemon and lime 6 cups (1.5 L) boiling water Artificial sweetener of your choice... to taste Ice cubes In large measuring cup or teapot, place tea bags, mint leaves and orange, lemon and lime slices; cover with boiling water and steep for 10 minutes. Strain into large pitcher; add sweetener and stir until dissolved. Serve over ice.
Makes 4 to 6 servings. Per Serving: Calories 34 Protein 0g Total Fat 0g Carbohydrates 5g Fiber 0g Cholesterol 0mg Sodium 7mg.
