Okay, I was going to make whole wheat french toast w/ egg whites for my wife tomorrow. I hate the stuff. However, we hae no LOW SUGAR/SUGAR FREE syrup. I know there is recipe out there. Anyone have any ideas?

Ok here is what she told me:
1st choice ( better taste, easier and no calorie) - Just buy the Atkins calorie free Maple sirup
2nd choice, if you cant find Atkins sirup, this is the best compromise - Mix 50%-50% water with any low sugar maple sirup you can find (you should mix it with water because they usually have 10-15g of carbs per portion... so after a couple of french toasts, it will makes a lot of carbs...) - Add 1 spoon of artificial maple sirup flavour per 2 cups of water / Add a lot of splenda / 1 pack of knoox if you dont want it to be too much liquid / and add a bit of corn sirop
3rd choice… the hardcore one ;D - Same as number two (double the maple sirup flavor, the splenda and the knoox)… but dont add any low carbs maple sirup… for a contest prep it's excellent, for a breakfast with your wife, i'm not sure ;D
