Was at the show last night, which was spectacular. I could never be a judge, because all the ladies looked terrific and had solid and entertaining routines.
Julie Palmer won her first pro show, with Kim Klein 2nd. Both are now eligible for the Fitness Olympia in October. Julie was stunning and Kim showed an amazing display of tumbling.
This was held in conjunction with the NPC Metropolitans NQ, which was a bit thin. Only had 4 women BB, and was surprised there were only 9 in figure. Early in the season for most athletes, I guess. Chris Cormier was guest poser and he looked great and was a crowd pleaser.

Tim, men's show was rather thin as well. More in novice than open. A few novice competitors crossed over to open and did well. My pal Chris' friend Lou Rodea (not sure of spelling) won novice and open hw.
There were no bantams or supers in novice or open. Overall open winner was in good shape, again not sure of spelling Rich Pachiccio (lhw). Have guys getting NQ who were subpar.
Masters was not much better. Over 35 and overall winner Al Rivera was very good. Given your Eastern USA condition you would have won or worst be 2nd in 45+. John Sansone looked good, but other two did not belong on stage. One of them had love handles and crowd was laughing. Heard someone say "I paid $35 to see this?" But with only 3 guys he gets a trophy. That's the real joke!!
