Posting Images to the Board

FYI - Attaching Images to Messages

This board is hosted by Proboards.com. Proboards do not allow the uploading of images onto their servers so you need to host the pictures offsite.


If you are looking for somewhere to upload images, try ImageShack.

There are also many other free hosting services out there, do a search for "free image hosting" and you will find hundreds of them.

Nice thing about imageshack.us is that there is no registration process - just upload and go.

The interface is very simple:



1. Click on the browse button and tell ImageShack where the image is on your computer (it must me less than 1 megabyte)



2. Once you have selected the image and hit ok, click on the "Host It" button



3. Image Shack will now upload the image and tell you where it is stored.

4. To place the image on your message, select the text in the top box and copy and paste it into your message.



5. Done!

Chris thanks for the information. Tried to post through my ISP and pulling teeth would be a better experience.

AllBrand gives this response when you try to make a new account (note the one at the bottom of their list is the one I've been using that has a low, low quota -- as in, it really doesn't work):

Sorry, but due to the skyrocketing number of users and account abuse, we are not accepting any new accounts at this time.
