I havnt really spent too much time on working on my legs... im thinking about doing it regularly... i do it ;ole once a month. This is the part that can sound stupid... so when do legs get too big? i mean the uppder body we just get bigger sized shirts like xl, 2xl, and so forth. But how bout for the legs? i mean i dont see pants being nice wearing baggy ones, and i surely dont want them to be tyte on me... just a little lose. what size pants do you guys wear or what kind... or does working out the legs not even effect wearing the kind of jeans or pants you want,

eeneich, not working the legs is a big midstake.
Firstly because of the symmetry /proportion problems that will arise as your upperbody will eventually dwarf your legs, and secondly because of the health benefits you are missing out on.
Squatting and other leg work idirectly affects the development of the whole body by inbcreasing your metabolism and building the heart and lung capacity.
As far as getting them too big goes,I wish I had that problem. Simply get them to a point where you are satisfied with their size then train to maintain them .

eeneich: First of all, I agree with Tim 100% about the benefits of working legs. Regarding clothing, it's actually pretty easy to find good fitting clothing. The problem is that many lifters prefer one of two looks: 1) ridiculoulsy tight inappropriate clothing. 2) clownpants. I have no idea why, all it does is help maintain the stereotype of anyone lifting weights as a narcissistic, attention seeking meathead. Shirts are just as much of a problem as pants - a 3xl shirt will be broad in the shoulders and chest, but it will also be equally broad in the belly - not a good look. similar problems with pants. You just have to shop around a little more to find clothes. I wear good fitting suits to work everyday. You can get stuff altered surprisngly cheaply, a lot of the nicer dept. stores offer that kind of service. Try and avoid specialty big and tall stores, they tend to grossly ovecharge or clothes. The only big&tall store I use is www.kingsizedirect.com they have some of the best prices for suits and dress shirts. For more casual stuff, the Gap do a range of shirts that contain a small percentage of lycra in them, they look like normal shirts but have a slight taper toward the waist so they fit nice instead of the 3xl shirts that could be used as tents.

you wouldn't need to do much... ;D you already have muscle...the only way to get them bigger is train them. Okay...you want muscle..but you don't want big legs...what do you want ? you're a confusing fellow.

i say train them as a regular routine....as with other bodyparts..so no one part of your body is bigger or smaller than the other. Just keep training with same weight i guess if you don't want to build any more..and eat at maintenance.
