Chad, buy her that new bowling ball that you've been wanting. That way, when she says that you were working and not spending time on her, you say "I did it to buy you this new bowling ball you wanted!" When she says "It's over!!!" and your alone, you at least have that new bowling ball to keep you company at the bowling alley. That way, your just buying a new friend....

Hang in there. Your attitude sounds good. Find someone who matches you in more than just the bedroom and there'll be fewer bumps in the road. Good luck!

Bootie calls rock!!! In between wifes there was a spell of time where I really enjoyed the single life after getting over the initial shock of the x taking off. I found the lady I am with, once I got back into the grove... chin up bro, it will all pan out!

Hope you're OK, shadow. Know what it's like, but there is always family, friends and the gym.
Many times good things happen when we least expect them. Usually when a door closes another one opens. So take it a day at a time and good luck.

Hey Shadow, if it's any consolation, my last relationship was 9 years ago.
Being a bodybuilder, somewhat underemployed, happliy single, and not interested in being a dad at 50 has taken me off the market.
And you know, it's OK.
Family, friends, lifting, scuba, my house all keep me busy, along with my recovery and helping others.
I learned to enjoy it the peaceful solitude.
Feel your feelings, then get into action.
Peace Brock

Thanks Xena!
Actually, once I realized I did not NEED to be in a romantic relationship, it opened the door for a whole slew of possibilities. I also realized I needed a better relationship with myself, and that meant working hard to be the person i've always thought I could be.
Now I'm too busy and I admit it, a bit too lazy, to go out chasing something I no longer feel the need for.
Instead, I'm hitting the mass building, growing and going, and enjoying life!
It's simple once you give yourself permission to do so!
Brock
