Just wanted to say I'm back to bodybuilding/lifting. After a few weeks into the summer, all my motivation and passion for bodybuilding left me. I took about 2 months off, cleared my head, and now I think I'm ready to return. We'll see how things go.

Yeah I don't know what it was, I just didn't have it in me at all to continue lifting. I tryd to push it by going to the gym when I didn't want to, and I'd end up leaving 10min later. I think I burned out mentally. Past 2 months I didn't train at all, didn't follow any bodybuilding diet, nothing, ate maybe 3 meals a day. The rest of the summer I just worked and enjoyed it I guess you could say. I dropped some noticeable size by not eating a bodybuilders diet, just whatever was cooked or what I cooked. My strength went down a lot. On monday I went to workout first time since the layoff, I bench pressed 185 for 6-8 reps, absolutley pathetic!! I used to push 270 for 5 reps about a year ago. I'm sure the strength will be back in no time, 1-2 months and I'll be a machine again hopefully. I'll try to post as much as possible since I'm not too busy either then College and work few times a week. Talk to you later Tim.

Sometimes you just need some time off for various reasons.
Trust me bro, you`ll come back quick as hell.
Muscle has memory, and if you just ease your way back in at first, you`ll be back full bore in no time flat.

Sup? Yeah, I had to take about a month off myself due to injury which was followed by illness... I went kicking an screaming though. Doesn't matter, the rest does a person good.
Best of luck on your return... pump hard!
