I think I'll stick around to see this new popularity thing. Hopefully it involves me and Monica Brant?

I'm sure she is. I'd die to meet myself too. Your just jealous cause I know more about soul/blues than you do. However, you've lived them more than I have. I'm just a white kid from one of the top 5 richest counties in the US. However, I don't share the financial income the rest of them do. Bring on Monica!!! ;D

Youngblood here at the beginning? I'm jealous, cause things are rockin' now! And what is this about you and kick ass guitar? Would love to hear more about that! Anyway, shape or form! And Tim, yes, things have moved along quite nicely here...I know it took a while but that is what it takes time and perseverence (sp?) ian

I'm a guitar player, and a bodybuilder. Not exactly the easiest combo to manage. I have, however, for the last seven years of working out, managed to maintain my shape and BBer lifestyle-even while going on tours for weeks on end. Now, me being the musician. I don't know where Tim got that I play kick ass guitar, although I'd like to think I do. To my knowledge (and this is blowing my cover), Tim's never heard me play! But since I've told him a list of guys I have played with, maybe he's assumed that I'm good? I love old blues, soul, jazz, and really all kinds of music. Soul, and blues (I hate it when it's calle The Blues!!! ) are "my bag." I know more about them than I do anything else. For awhile, Tim and I were trading PM's on IA, trying to stump one another regarding blues trivia. I'll let Tim reveal who won the contests.

Youngblood....I know where you are coming from (a little bit) I am a musician, singer, guitarist, producer, blah blah balh...anyway...I'm not a BB, but I do work out and like the pump! Plus after years of doing only the horizontal pump I needed to get on track! ;-) Musician to musican I would love to hear something if you have anything available to listen to. I assume by Tim's comments that you are mainstream and touring, is that right? Well....Nice to meet you! <offering a hand shake> I would love to trade stories if you get a chance. I've been doing my thing for 15 years and if interested you can check out my site www.iandecker.com Tim and the others have helped out a lot getting my mind and body up to par to take on this project, but I'm ready and greatful! Take care Young! Ian

Probably the two best known recordings of me are on John Leslies (yes the porn producer!) album "In The Kitchen," RJ Mischos "West Winds Blowin'," and I did a rhythm track on Rusty Zinns "Confessin'" album. The latter was on "You Were Wrong" (who wrote that Tim?). I've played with some guys here and there. I no longer tour, since it doesn't pay the bills. I was in the band The Dynatones for 2.5 years, but near the end was walking around the earth with holes in my shoes from not making any money. So I retired temporarily from that to do personal training. That didn't work out, so I'm now a merchindiser for Dreyers Ice Cream. Yeap, a low carb following BBer working for a Carb laden ice cream company!!!! Most of you East Coast people probably know Dreyers as Edy's Ice Cream. I'm pretty traditional in my playing, but love anyone from Prince, Yngwie Malmsteen, Kenny Burrell, Ron Deal, Bob Marley, Johnny Jones, Magic Sam, Otis Rush, The Ovations, The Persuasions, and the list goes on and on and on.......... I still play, and am proceeding to learn jazz. It's certainly a challenge. So, Tim, you won all the battles? What dream was that in?
