I'm back!!! Florida was awesome. Weather was great and the workouts even better. I kept up with the diet with no major problems. At the gym today, a couple of people mentioned that I looked a little leaner. I have become a bit more shredded (especially in the delts, chest, and legs). I did notice, however, that I retained a lot of water while in Florida. ...and now, for the next phase of the program... Diet: For this next phase of the diet, I'll be cycling carbs once again but this time the carbs will range between 0 and 200 grams per day. Workouts: No major changes to the workout except for a few more isolation exercises. I'll be sticking with the 4 day split (2 days on, 1 day off, 2 days on, 2 days off). While in Florida, I also started abs and cardio (30 min.) everyday. Let's get it on!!!!!

T-Bar Row: 2 plates x12 3 plates x10 4 plates x10
WG Seated Row: 140x12 150x12 170x12
Smith-Machine Shrugs: 180x15 180x15 270x10 270x10
Ab Crunches: 4 sets x 50
Hanging Leg Raises: 2 sets x max
Cardio: 30 min. treadmill - 8 incline @ 3.2-4.2 mph. total cals: 420
Felt great today. Nice to get back into the gym at 6am as opposed to 9am. Had good strength but I really focused on my form. Nice and slow and in total control. Felt especially great on the T-Bar Row. I took the advice of my buddy in Florida and bent 90 degrees for the t-bar, lowered the weight, and did a full stretch. Felt freaking nice!

Terry, Us guys from Florida really know our s!#@ !!! You're telling me. My buddy is the owner of the gym. He's 60 something and looks just amazing. He's been bodybuilding for lord knows how long. His years of knowledge and experience are a definite asset to my training.

Looks like another good one Terry! Thanks Joel. It's a lot different being back in my own gym. The workouts are the same but the atmosphere is totally different in Florida. There, if you don't drop the weights or use chalk, or grunt really loud, it's not the place for you. At home, that stuff could get you thrown out of the gym.

You're right about the general attitude towards training down here Terry. Probably more bodybuilders down her than any state except Cali. In alot of gyms hardcore is what it's ALL about. Usually it depends on where you train.........some of the bigger franchise names such as World's and Powerhouse, have tons of competitive bodybuilder's training there, and they are very "sympathetic" to our cause!! Still, even down here there are some chains ...Bally's..... that cater to the "I'm here to be seen, not train" crowd and it is definitely NOT the place for anyone hardcore. The absolute BEST places are the countless small gym set ups with local owners who have competed in the past......

Yeah, I trained at a small gym in Foley Alabama called Jason's Fitness that was great! Hardcore and good atmosphere!
