Keith what is the minimum fat intake on a diet like the one you are on. I was thinking of trying it but don't want to take in 100 grams of fat due to the fact i am already extremely overweight. I don't think the high fat would be good for my heart at this point until i get my bodyweight down. SJ: The best way to break it down for you would be by %..... M-F it's about 50% protein,48% fats and 2% carbs ..I typically keep my carb intake about 20 gms or lower per day. On the weekends it shifts to about 60% carbs,30% protein and 10% fats. You can use "good" fats to help you in this..MCT's, Flax seed oils etc.,. Keith

Do some research on this type of dieting and you will find that it can actually help your heart

A LITTLE CHANGE IN PLANS FOLKS!!
I originally intended to come in as a Middleweight in the Over 40 Master's Class, however, as my brother and I were looking over and evaluating past contest photos we determined that one of the best packages I have ever presented was at 166. In my avatar I'm at that weight. My diet has been going great to this point ...I was 183.5 this AM, and I feel I can get to just under 165 in terrific condition. Along that line of thought, I am now planning on entering the Welterweight Division in the Over 40 Master's

I never got to step onstage with any of my old ( no pun intended...I'm 50 next year too!) bodybuilding idols, so this is as close as that gets for me! It truly will be an honor to be up onstage with you, bro. At least we know we got backstage help for sure now! Keith
