I hear ya hoopie, I won't see any changes for a couple of weeks and then bam! Big change in a couple of days! Its weird but I lose wt. in cycles. I'll bet you see a difference in a couple of days now that you've had a refeed day to jump start your metabolism.

Monday 7-25-06 LEGSA.M. CARDIO 220 cals burned Squats 135x15 185x12 225x20 250x15 275x10 225x12 Leg Press 410x20 555x15 640x12,15 500x20 Leg Ext 70x12,12,12(30 sec. rest between sets) *QUADS ARE ON FIRE AT THIS POINT*Lunges 30x12,12 30x4 (had a sharp tearing like pain shoot thru my right quad that sent me to my knees in pain. Took 2 hours for the quad to loosen up. Thought i tore the damn thing...) Calves (Super Set)Seated 90x16 100x14 110x12 120x10 130x8 140x6 ss with Standing Press 230x16 245x14 260x12 275x10 290x8 305x6 Ohter than the big scare with the 3rsd set of lunges it was a great leg busting w/o. Legs today(tuesday) are killing me.... Trying a new gyum that opened up. Looked at it yesterday and they have all new cybex machines and are getting in 10 new smith machines. They already have a smith rack for squats and bench but they are getting 10 more other machines. The cardio equipment is awesome. Down side NO dumbells...

Pressdowns (cybex) 87.5x30 92x15 107x12(not sure if these are in kilos or pounds so i switched to a different style for the last 2 sets) 72x12 77x20(arms tucked at sides)
Arm Ext(cybex) 70x12,12
Seated Ext(ez bar) 95x12 705x10 115x8(these were weird feeling)
ABS-->Torso ratations 65x15,15 AB Machine 70x15 80x15 Weighted Crunch 10x15 20x15
CARDIO 36 minutes speed 3.5-3.7 incline 7-15% cals unknown didnt set treadmill up right to do cals
GREAT W/O!! Pump in my arms was the best i have ever felt. My abs were all done with cybex equipment and oh my did they hate me when i was done. Really enjoyed this gym will be joining it and leaving my old outdated gym...

wednesday 9-27-06 Chest & ABS
Incline DB Press 80x10,10,10,8,6 (45 sec rest between sets)
Bench 200x12,12,15 (2 minutes rest between sets. used smith machine for first time took some getting used to)
Seated Bench(cybex) 110x6(too light) 120x10(FAILURE) 120X12(FAIL)
ABS AB Rotation(cybex) 65x20 AB Machine(cybex) 90x20 Weighted Crunch 20x15 Leg Raises bwx15
WENT TO DO 2ND SET OF WHAT I THOUGHT WAS GOING TO BE A GIANT SET AND MY ABS WERE JUST IN PAIN. AFTER YESTERDAYS ABS THEN TRYING TO DO THEM AGAIN TODAY THERE WAS JUST PAIN. NOT A HURT BUT LIKE A SHARP I CANT DO NO MORE PAIN. SO I DIDNT PUSH THE ISSUE WITH THEM.
Good w/o. Used the low cable on the cybex for my incline presses which worked out real well. Great pump in my chest. had to get used to the smith bench press and the seated bench. good w/o for only having 3g of carbs up to that point. No cardio today..

How long do you stay on your low carbs?
The training looks great. Is your typical rep range aroudn 12 or do you mix it up sometimes and go for heavy w/ lower reps?

How long do you stay on your low carbs? Right now with coming up on 4 weeks out i am doing 5 straight days of 30g or less. then the 5th day is a carb up. Then back to 5 days 0-30g carbs.The training looks great. Is your typical rep range aroudn 12 or do you mix it up sometimes and go for heavy w/ lower reps? Right now i have as high as 50 reps and as low as 10-12 right now. It just all depends on what the boss has in store for me to do rep wise for that exercise. Sal
