How many days till you show Tim? How do you feel? Physically ready? Mentally ready ? R U Ready to ROCK!?!?!? 18 days couting today, and the day of the show Frank. I feel weak and crappy! I think I look pretty good, and I`m still tightening up quite a bit. I`m never mentally ready..........no confidence for the most part, except in spurts. I have never done good in the 3 other contests I`ve done in NYC,but one of those times I was blatantly at fault. Let`s see if I can change things up a bit this time. Still haven`t started tanning....I better get busy.

Well....the weak and crappy I understand! Felt a lot of that myself lately too!
I also just started tanning. WAY behind schedule for me. If I do ANYTHING right, it's my contest color!
Gotta break that NYC thing! This show will be the charm! YOU CAN DO IT!
Remember some of the things you taught me buddy.....
Somewhere out there right now are the guys who will standing next to you on stage....one might be bustin' his azz doing cardio....another might be shootin' so much juice he could explode...another might be eatin' pizza!
BUT you will overcome! YOU WILL bring the total package!
POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE! YOU CAN and WILL beat them on thos alone....before you or they...ever step on stage!
Come on Bro...take it to the next level.....TODAY!

18 days… it sounds great to my ears! I remember the "great" feeling of being 18 days out: Not very confident, the mind games are terrible, we are anxious and nervous… and with the water load, we visit the toillet a bit more every day ;D April 14th...

Mo,I have increased my water intake and my visits to the bathroom also! Right now,I`m looking better almost on a daily basis..........more veins coming in everywhere. Still haven`t done any tanning at all, gotta` do it quickly or it`ll be too late as it may make me retain fluid.

Unbelievable training Tim! Do you have the time to get out in the sun? I think it beats the tanning bed hands down. Just don't get burned! You're right if you overdo it it will make you hold water.

Not much sun up here yet Joel......it just started getting warmer but still too chilly to lay out. In the summer,I go out in the field, weedwhack away a patch of grass, and lay out in the nude all the time.............not many people around, but I did catch a deer being a peeping Tom one time. LOL

Fri. Mar. 30th.
Triceps/Biceps,Forearms,Abs,Cardio:
Triceps/Biceps:
Decided to go light and fast today as I was by myself and my triceps were slightly sore from doing pullovers the other day.
The object wasfast, intense, and getting a huge pump...................this turned out to be so fast the entire arm routine was almost like one big giant set.
Super-Set # 1: {Cybex Preacher Curls: 5pl.-15 5pl.-15 4.5pl.-15 4.5pl.-15 {Cybex Seated Triceps Ext. Machine: 4 x 20 with 6 plates
Super-Set # 2: {Pressdowns: 3 x 20-5 plates {Kneeling Cable Curls: 5pl.-15 3 x 15 with 6 plates
Super-Set # 3: {Face Down On Incline DB Curls: 3 x 12 with 25 pounders {Bent-Forward Cable Extensions: 3 x 20 with 8 plates
Reverse Triceps Dips/Pressdowns: 160-30 200-25 170-25 Did these by facing away from the assisted dip/chin machine and putting my hands on the footbar and doing a partial pressdown..........not really heavy but going really slow,it felt great and was a good finishing exercise that blew my tris up bigtime.
Forearms: Wrist Curls: 3 x failure-80 pounds 3 x failure-60 pounds
Abs:
Tri-Set: {Hanging Leg Raise: 3 x 20 {Rope-Crunches: 2 x 30-10 plates 1 x 30-9 plates {Crunches: 3 x 30
Cardio: 47 minutes on inclined treadmill = 550 calories
Great workout,my arms looked insanely big for me anyway.
Another week of great training.........one more step closer to the goal !! #arockon6ha#

Mon. Apr. 2nd.
Quads,Calves:
Quads:
Pre-Exhaust Super-Set: {Leg Extensions: 3 x 12 with 70 pounds 1 x 20 with 50 pounds {Lying Leg Sled: 7pl.-12 9pl.-12 9pl.-12 6pl.-20 (close stance,feet together) Moderate weight,very little rest was the theme today.
I love this Super-Set combo................blows my legs away every time if I do them slowly with a lot of control, which is what we did.
Dumbell Lunges: 20-15 30-12 20-15 I go,you go style with the lead foot on a platform, one leg at a time really deep!!
Cybex Seated Unilateral Leg Press: 130-12 170-12 190-12 I like doing these one leg at a time................real deep and affects the hams as well.
Adductor Machine: 130-20 130-20
Calves: Standing Calf Raise: 4 x failure with185-225 All to failure, followed by half reps to failure, followed by a static stretch.
Trying to hit bottom for a 2 count,then back up for a 2 count,and so on...........OUCH!!
Leg Press Calf Raise: 4 x failure with 225-275 All to failure, followed by half reps to failure, followed by a static stretch.
Hobbled out once again!

Thanks giys,I appreciate the encouragement and feedback!! Grant,I do the reverse hypers on a machine....it`s plate loaded and had a padded bar that your heels go up against to raise the weight. This is similar to the one in my gym,but ours is much better:
