I keep water as high as possible then stop drinking completely on the evening before the show......actual time depends on how I`m looking.

For this to work well,you have to be drinking a ton of water,then some more.

Cutting out sodium today which will/should also help to tighten things up.

I doubt that Frank,I cut back on intensity of cardio at times during my prep because in the past I would lose too much muscle,especially in my already lagging quads,so I`m lean,but I think my balance and proportion has improved.

I could probably be leaner,but then my legs would be smaller resulting in an out of proportionate look,as well as less size overall.

When there is only one class of guys,and you weigh 170 and other guys are over 200 pounds,you can`t get too small or you`ll be overlooked bigtime.

I think the bodyfat test is way over rated anyway. I'm always hearing guys say that their at 6% or 4% and most of the time they sure don't look like it! I've noticed the last several years when I've had mine tested it was never as low as they tested it when I was younger even though I was definitely more defined.

I have been reading your journal with great interest. Hats off to anyone who has the dedication to compete. After the contest, I am guessing you will take about a week or so off. When you resume training and dieting are you going to increase your cal and do workouts for size and strength, perhaps 5x5 training?
