"60 grams is a high day for me!!! " Haha, i cant believe it… usually i would call those 60 grams of carbs "trace of carbs"
"Seriously,I think it`s a very good move......just cyckle or alternate high and low days never going too high just until you carb up for the contest...if you plan on carb depleting and carbing up." That's what i'll do… and i'll carb up according to my bodyweight. If Thursday morning i'm close to 195lbs, i'll carb up on Friday after the official "weight-in" (is that the good expression?) and if i'm something like 193,5-194lbs i'll do it on Thursday PM or Friday AM… (I usually carb up on Thursday morning.)
Thanks tim!

8 days out from FAME Canadian Central 29 days out from FAME Canadian Nationals
195,5 lbs right now… When i lose weight, i'm sometime affraid of becoming too small, but a wise man who often have problems with his computer once told me "Go down and you'll be big" ;D so 194 lbs here i come!
My water intake is now 2 gallons (8 liters), i also increased my sodium intake (Salt, Soya sauce, Salted turkey, White eggs) and i'm doing my last legs workout today! It's funny because since march i'm doing the contest countdown with the number of legs workouts ;D "Ok, only 6 legs workouts to go until FAME central"
I'll be at the office monday and thusday, but i'll be off after that… it will allow me to eat and drink properly, to practice poses, to take care of the tanning, the shaving and to prepare my bags for the travel to Toronto.

Thanks tim! Mo. How long do you carb up for? 2 days? 3? How many carbs per pound of bodyweight? Randy, it often changed from contests to contests because i try to adjust the prep in the objective of improving the final result, but here is a big picture: I usually start to carb up on Thursday morning and keep doing it Friday and Sunday (Sunday being the contest day, pre-juging around 11h00 AM and the final around 8h00 PM). Last time i carbed up, i ate approx 375-475g of carbs everyday (and even more on contest day) for a 192lbs bodyweight! As i said, for my 1st show this year (april 15th), if i'm too close from 195lbs on thursday morning, i'll try to carb up on friday, around the athlete meeting instead of thursday morning.

Your sponsors must be extremely happy they signed you up #bnotworthysmiley5cb# This is very kind Lux, thanks! I'll try to have a great competing year (I've been 100% dedicated to it since day one of the off-season in august 2005) and after that who knows… maybe i'll retire, gain 100 lbs of fat and finally have a normal life … but wait, do i really want a normal life? Hehe… i dont know what i want… my carb intake is too low now ;D
