One more training day until I can carb up a bit and rest............I am completely drained and I feel weaker than a kitten.

Not really heavy Randy, but it wasn`t easy due to the short rest periods...................never experienced pumps like I did yesterday and today, despite only having eaten about 40 gms. of carbs total for yesterday, and none before my training today.
Going real low in an effort to deplete and I sure as hell feel depleted.
Ate 33 grams today and that`ll probably be it...............I was gonna` do 3 days at zero carbs, but didn`t think I really needed to..............just eating them at PW.

Funny. I sometimes get a better pump with NO carbs.. Starnge, but true...
This is what its all about TIM

At times so do I Randy............I think at least in my case it`s the very high sodium I`m taking in right now. Who knows, but I`m not complaining.

Just caught your drift about the double post Randy. LOL Got my computer back today and it`s running great ,but for some reason,I had a hard time getting that to post. Feels good not to have my wife asking/demandin if she can use the computer now!! #smileythrowspc1dn#

Hang in there Tim, I know that you will but just know I'm here for moral support!
Isn't it weird how vascular and pumped you get when your carbs are so low? And then when I get to the show I have trouble getting ether one to happen! I know its a sodium thing, but its hard to balance it out just right.

Thanks Joel.............almost there!!
Weird,I was in a contest in Rochester NY in 2003 and all week long before the contest,I had a ton of veins crawling all over my quads.............of course come showtime, not a vein in site,on my legs anyway!! #arollseyes3zc#

I know, I sodium deplete to get rid of the water under my skin and it works but then I lose vascularity!
We will have to figure this thing out!

Good luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
It always seems to be a hit or miss affair............wish I could get it down to a science and duplicate it every time.

That's why i dont see sodium as evil anymore! I try to do manipulations to get rid of it the days before the contest, but on contest day i know i need it, so i reintroduce it! Just in time for a pump, but not for water retention (at least… this is the plan! ;D I hate the timing aspect of this sport.)

I`m also gonna` add a bit of sodium with a small amount of water on contest day Mo.
