Does anyone know of a good place to find plans for building a power rack?
I'm in the process of putting together my own basement gym and I figure it will be cheaper to get a rack made than buy one. I'm having hard time finding any plans online.

I don't know of any but goodluck. I wish i could build my own gym.
A Power Rack is all i would need to do my workouts. That and a sh*t load of free weights.

I'm having hard time finding any plans online. I just purchased a power rack recently Chris and my first intention was to build one. By the time I bought materials I wasn't too far off what I could buy one for.

Thanks guys those plans look good. I'm still leaning toward having it built - the problem with buying purchasing a rack is that I cannot find exactly what I want locally. The shipping charges are gonna kill me. for some of the heavier racks the shipping will make up almost 50% of the cost.

Chris,I think I saw some plans once for a wooden power rack on either Old School Strength Training or Bob Whelan`s Natural Strength boards....but I`m not sure.
I have a few in old mags too,but no scanner and I have no clue as to which of my hundreds of mags to look into.
