Yeah know I'm a huge fan of our sport. But as I get older (I'm 36) the more I appreciate and long for the guys of the past. Yeah Ronnie is awesome and Dorian was great. But was there anyone like Haney? But lets go back further when bodybuilders were naturally strong and impressive. Lets go back to the early early years of Anrold, Franco, Reg, Grimick, Viator and my favorite oldie but goodie Bill Pearl. I've met Bill on several occassions and he was always awesome and nice to me. Take a look at some of these older photos.

The above pic that Rubi "quoted" is one of the visions I have of myself when I set a goal. There's another pic that I've seen of Bill, doing a side triceps pose where it had to have been a slab of roast beef hanging off his arm for a tricep!!! I've searched all over for it, and have yet to find it on the web. It was on a poster for a BBing comp, which you would think they would get it from a common source. Oh well, Bill is a great BBing champ, but I still don't understand how he did it being a Vegetarian!!!
