How about this genre? Disney and other animators have produced some quality stuff. Some I really like:
Beauty and the Beast (one of Disney's best and the only animated film to receive a Best Picture Oscar nomination)
Also like Lion King, Ratatouille, Snow White, Toy Story and Mary Poppins (which was actually animation blended into the live action).

Pixar (Incredibles#1, Ratatouille #2) is the reigning king for me as far as long-form animation. For short-form, I'd work for Aardman (Wallace and Grommit) any day.
From Disney I love the vintage stuff. I've always had a soft spot for Aristocats too (great voice work). But I love the shorts from the 50's with Donald, Pluto etc... And my favorites would have to be 1950's era Warner Brother's Looney Tunes

I like a lot of the Disney movies. Some of the ones I loved when I was young was Bambi, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella & the Jungle Book. I loved all the Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck cartoons as well.
The newer films like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King are a few of my favorites.
I haven't seen too many really recent animated films. I guess I will have to have an outing with a few of my nieces and nephews someday soon.

Used to like watching Rocky and Bullwinkle, and also Flintstones (actually they were mostly on TV).

ALL of the above are great! WE have collected the Disney Movies for years! We recently went to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks"! I went out and bought the soundtrack to listen to in my car! Recently, my personal preference are the Veggie-Tales! Want to go see "The Pirates who don't Do Anything!"

Love the "squirrel" from Ice Age! Gotta commend his aggressiveness in trying to get a nut.

Ice Age and Shrek were both terrific!
Recently saw an older Disney animated film, 101 Dalmatians. Very well done, and it was also done as a live action film starring Glenn Close as villainess Cruella de Vil. Both was super.

Look for a short animated film called "Harvey Krumpet". Sometimes it will make you laugh; other times it'll give you a big lump in your throat.
When I was a kid there was a carton about a big old bulldog named Marc Anthony and this little tiny kitty. The kitty would climb up on his back to sleep; it would completely ignore him when he went psycho. At one part, if I'm remembering right, the kitten goes through the washer.
If anyone else remembers this...or if I was just hallucinating from too many Pop Tarts let me know.

Ren and Stimpy. Tripletts of Belleville. Chicken Run are some others.
Daffy Duck/Elmer Fudd and the push button home of the future...or the one where Bugs Bunny puts sticks of dynamite in the big red monsters hair to give him a perm-ma-nerm-a-ment.
