Just like the caption reads i am out of comission the next couple of weeks till i found out what is wrong medicaly. Spent 5 hours in the ER yesterday and had my appendix ruled out as the problem so now its off to other test. My doctor ask that i not workout to see if its just a pulled muscle in my abdominal wall plus so my body can rest and heal itself. Talk about taking the wind out of your sails. Just under 4 weeks to go and now im sidelined. An im not one to toot my own horn but i am starting to look freaking sweet. VERY lean and would prbably be fully ready in 2 weeks thus giving me 2 weeks to spare. So what i've decided to do was keep dieting for the show cause i WANT to see what i would've looked like on show day. Wifes even interested to see what i would have looked like. Its amazed me how much my body has changed i a matter of 1-2 weeks. Now if i can just get healthy physically. Still to say the least i am EXTREMELY bumbed about this but very happy with how i look. I'll get some pics up this weekend so ya'll can see my progress.
Question i have for all the dieters for shows, when you get to a certain point of leanness does it feel like your body can't regulate its temperature? that is one of my symptoms, one minutes im fine the next my body feels like its on fire like i spiked a temp. Then after a while it comes back to norm.
My plan diet wise is to now have a refeed after every 3rd day of zero carbs. Then after the show date i am going to only eat carbs at dinner(limited to 100g) through the week then on Saturday have a cheat meal for dinner.
So now its time to get better physically...

Hoops! First of all....sorry about the ER visit Bro! ALWAYS a bummer! Make sure the doc's check out everything. If you're injured, better to get it fixed or whatever than be sidelined for an even LONGER period later. Temperature changes: When I'm keeping to a strict regimen of eating on the clock, I do get temperature spikes and sweats. IMO, I think because I'm fueling the machine, it is kicking up my metabolism. It's either that or you need Premarin! Hang in there Bro! Keep us updated.

I'm sorry this has happened so close to your show-fingers crossed they find out what is happened quickly!
As for the heating up thing-I did get the sweats and it was weird but my doctor said it was just my metabolism

Want to thank everyone for the well wishes. To make matters worse my Dr. called back today and said that i have pneumonia in one of my lungs. It showed up on the ct scan they did. That explains the nasty cough i have. Freaking Great, when it rains it pores it seems like. Being sent to a GI specialist to have my appendix looked at more. Wish they would just take the damn thing out.

Good that the scan turned that up so you can deal with it. Right now just focus on taking care of yourself and getting better. Praying for you, bro. Need to talk, I'm here.

I kinda know how you're feeling Steve. I was all set to compete this year and even had everything organised and then bang my bowels decided they would play up and I ended up at the specialist and being told I wasn't allowed to do a show... I was gutted to say the least but the good side of all of it was it gave me a chance to get my body back to 100% and to find a diet that kept my gut happy. As Tim said, there are always other contests so you need to focus on getting back to that 100%.. Hang in there
