A home town fella was home on leave this past weekend and stepped into the gym on Saturday. Well this home town fella is a navy seal. An he put on a show that turned heads in amazment. He did a 300 rep workout in 18 minutes that would make most if not all of us puke our guts out. Freaking unbelievable to watch. He did 6 exercises for 50 reps each. He is solid as a rock and strong and big as an ox yet agile. He did 50 pull ups then 50 weighted abs followed by 50 dead lifts with 135 pounds 50 jump ups, 50 kettle ball presses followed last by 50 kettle ball curl/shoulder press. It was amazing to watch. Got a chance to talk with him before he left and the training that he goes through on a daily bases is incredible.
I dont now him personaly however the short time that we talked made it feel like we had known each other forever. A very down to earth fella with his head on straight and knows what he wants. A 28 y/o young man that i am glad i had a chance to meet. Great kid/young man...

During my 14+ years in the Army, I worked in Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Warfare in the 3rd Infantry Division, and had many opportunities to work with Army Rangers and Green Berets.
These guys are awesome. They train all out 24/7, because that is their mission. To serve and protect our nation in a moments notice.
I was proud to be among their ranks.
Many people DIS on the military, especially with what is going on in the world now. But when you are one of these elite people, and have to have a bag packed in the corner 24/7 to grab and go anywhere in the world at a moments notice, not knowing when, or if, you will be back, you truly don't understand and appreciate them the same way.
This subject is close to my heart.
When my wife and I see a young soldier walking in the mall, we make it a point to walk over, shake their hand, and thank them for what they do. I think EVERYONE should do the same.
BOOYA my brothers!

Right on, Frank!! Have always had great respect for the military and the police since they make a lot of sacrifices for the general welfare.
Have always donated to USO, and other military and law enforcement causes. Hats off!!
