For the heck of it I took a pic after my workout yesterday. I'm nowhere near contest shape. But I want to compete in the next year and a half or so. I weigh 230 in this pic. Sorry it's fuzzy - I used the self-timer and the stupid thing focuses when you press the button instead of when it takes the pic, so it focuses on me standing right in front of it. ![](http://www.coldquads.com/temp/fuzzylatspread.jpg) For comparison only ... here's me 2 months after I started training about 7.5 years ago. ![](http://www.coldquads.com/gallery/cqimages/cqbefore.jpg)

It's easy to understand why you had those great comments about your shape recently! PS: Stupid camera! ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Thank you guys!
You're right Beckie. It's a very special kind of empowerment. It's why I love the sport so much.

I put a before and after pic together. Although I don't like how much fat I am carrying these days, I admit I like seeing the effects. ![](http://www.coldquads.com/temp/beforeafter7andahalfyears.jpg)
