I had a little more than 1/4 of a tank of gas when I topped off yesterday.
Damages? $ 75.00
That's about once a week or so.

I'm paying $70 per week, at $4.45+ a gallon. Diesel is around the $5.29 mark here, and to fill up the company tanks in my rig, it cost them $800+ dollars (for just my truck, not including the other 15 trucks in the bay area, or the trucks in Gilroy or other areas).
A Lincoln is only good for ONE gallon of gas these days....oh how I remember the days of $1.26/gallon when I started driving. I'm sure GerryT remembers the days of a horse and buggy, and wondering what in the world a "internal combustion motor to be appearing in showrooms now!" was like. Tim, well, he's probably still wondering how to use the gas pump, let alone worry about the money it will cost once he finally finishes that task! ;D

Best price in town here is $3.76 for regular unleaded. I never knew it would cost over $50 to fill up a Honda Accord. Our Toyota 4Runner... well not as bad as a big pickup but still costs a heck of alot of money.... and of course we've planned a driving family vacation this year.... my timing is never good!
I hate paying the prices but I think it's at least making people think about how much they may drive unnecessarily.
I had some hopes of buying a nice big Dodge P-up this year or next-- forget it!

Its $2NZ a liter here-guess that makes it close to $7US equivalent... It costs close to $100 to fill the tank completely now.Very scary!!!
