Well after 96 years my great uncle Ralph passed away. Yesterday is his funers, so after the gym and a meeting I rush home to change.
I go to put on the jacket to my dark suit. get my arms halfway in and I'm stuck! My arms and shoulders are too big!!!!
I wriggle out, give it another go! GRRRRRR it sloowly comes up and over my arms and shoulders, but no way its gonna close!
So for the two hour funeral I'm hunched over, trying not to breath too big and burst something. we are finally done, we go to the Varsity Grill for lunch and I look in the mirror. I'm filling out my formerly oversized dress shirt, with my neck bulging at the collar.
cool, but i'm thinking, where do i buy clothes now?

have you just been walking around blindfolded and naked? you seem to be having quite a few epiphanies regarding your own size lately...in any case, keep it up

;D
At work I wear way big polos and dress slacks. I actually avoided mirros cuz I had dropped so much during treatment, and literally refused to look at myself. I am used to scrawny arms, bony shoulders and no butt. So seeing all that mass, and then trying to put on a suit I had not worn in 2 years was a shock.
Needless to say, it's a pleasant surprise.
