Very interesting thing happened today.
For the 1st time ever, 24hr fitness threatened me.
As I was on my last set of deadlift, i heard something on the intercom. I didn't hear it clearly as i had my headset on. However, the only thing I heard was "don't bang the weight"..so I knew they were obviously talking about me over the intercom.
I busted out some more reps on the deadlift. It wasn't like I was bouncing the weight. I was dropping the weight and let it die on the ground, so I don't waste energy doing the negative.
Then I notice this big guy, that looked like Tank(prrstraining member) wearing a Powerhouse gym shirt, walking towards me. He told me a story about how this gym didn't allow him to do that "loud" stuff either.
After my workout was done I went and talked to him, and he was actually a Bodybuilder/powerlifter. He simply said "They don't understand!". Meaning the people of the gym doesn't understand how WE train. I asked him what the intercom lady said. Tony, the built guy, said that she said something about "if you can't lift the weight DON'T LIFT IT". When I heard that ..I laughed!! I said, "Yeah...I couldn't lift the weight lol" (while she was saying this, I was busting out more reps).
Then we got into talking more about Himself. This guy actually knows Jay Cutler. Apparently, he is "buddies" with him. He even gave him a phone call. He also knows Carrot Top's trainer. He told me a secret about Carrot top's built. I'm not gonna mention it as I don't know if it is allowed.
But yea, It was very interesting today.
One thing is for sure, I'm not training Legs/Back at that gym anymore!
