Hi folks, or I should say family
I have to apologize to one and all of you for being away for so long.
Life has been extremely busy as of late.
Still working 60+ hours a week doing what I love with passion. Sounds a little silly for being a supervisor in manufacturing but we are doing some cutting edge stuff with employee engagement and my crew is awesome!
Going to school. Every Saturday for 8 hours a day attending 2 classes. Doing about 2 hours of school work a night.
I am currently taking communication ethics and sociology, and its a blast.
now the bad news. My beautiful wife Denise has been having some health problems lately. Her back started to bother her and she was in a great deal of pain. She has 2 bulging discs and at first we thought it they were acting up. But then she began to loose sensation in her feet. Then her legs, then her all the way her belly.
We went to the doctor and she was admitted into the hospital and ended up staying in there for one week, actually 8 days.
They ran every test they could. MRI's of the brain and spine, cat scans, blood work, spinal tap, and vision test. Denise couldn't walk right and she couldn't even feel the floor beneath her feet.
Well..............
They not sure what the problem was, or is.
They narrowed it down to either MS or transverse mylitus. If its the transverese mylitus then she should recover, but how much is in question.
It could also be the start of MS.
We really will not know for some time. SHe will need a few more MRI's but the neurologist doesnt want to start MS treatment until he can be sure it is MS, since that therapy can last forever.
So its been a rather trying time.
Gerry knows about this and I really need to acknowledge all he has done. Gerry calls me at least once a week and he truely is a loving brother. He has been by my side through this and knowing that has helped me stay strong for Denise.
Gerry I love you man, your the best!
Denise is home now and she is recovering. Not 100%, more like 50% but improving.
