I bought a dumbbell rack and a couple of 140 lb dumbbells off a guy yesterday, and he kindly offered to deliver them in his van. I didn't actually want the db's but he offered to throw them in with the rack so I figured hey, why not? It will be fun to look at them every time I work out and wonder when I'll be able to use them for anything.
So he just dropped them off. He helped me bring the rack down to the gym, but we just left the db's on the porch. So after he left I got my straps and went out to the porch, strapped the db's on, and walked the roughly 40 feet to the basement stairs, and down 3 flights of 6 stairs each to the basement, where I promptly dropped them to the ground.
It's taken me 20 minutes to catch my breath. My traps and legs are shaking still.

Sounds like you unintentionally did the farmer's walk eh Rich? PS: You'll use those 140's before you know it! What about some dumbbells Shrugs, deadlifts or squats for a change?

When I have the room to do it, Farmers Walks are my favorite form of cardio. As I'm sure Rich can now attest to, they get your heart going and keep it there for some time!

Pics of the rack, plus another new acquisition (cool hyper bench - it adjusts from 45 to 180 degrees) Notice the 140's on the top rack? That was fun. LOL.
