All the best this weekend to a great competitor and person at IFBB North Americans this weekend!
Eric deservedly won the over 40 super heavy class at Masters Nats last month and will be looking for another win and possibly pro status.
Over 300 competitors total in BB and figure, and always a tough event.

Eric is going to be more than ready for this one! Let me put it this way...if he comes in like I know he will, it is going to be a TALL order for anyone to beat him! He looked GREAT at the Masters' Nats and he is looking even better now. Go get that pro card, my friend!!!

With any luck I will be at the show. Pre-judging if nothing else. I am hoping to get some extremely good photos. If anyone remembers the last photos I posted, I think the quality was pretty good. timwescott.proboards18.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=2018&page=1These photos were taken with my previous camera setup with small/normal camera settings. With the newer equipment we have now I am shooting with much higher resolution and images 3 times the size though the camera speed is a little slower I should still be able to get 4 pics per second. This should allow for better photos given decent seating position, camera speed and lighting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on getting there and we should get some nice pics of Eric. Thanks a lot everyone. Going to give it my best and hope it turns out in my favor. Even if it doesn't, I still had a great year and will just come back better next year.
I will come in about 5 pounds heavier for this show and close to 240. Probably about 10 or 15% tighter then the last show. I backed off on the carb up for the last show and ended up a little flat. Doing things different for this one. One thing I have found is I cannot carb deplete on very low carbs the week of the show. It is impossible for me to fill back out when I do this.

I have to help my brother move some furniture tomorrow morning on the east side of Cleveland so I may take the wife and make a day of it. ANd Lanceis one bada$$ bodybuilder as well. I saw him a couple years back at the NA's great shape, condition, etc. It will be a good masters class. GO GET IT ERIC!!!!!!!! Jeremy |

Having trouble with Photoshop opening.
I may have to get back to this in a bit.
I will say the photos on bb.com are better and show much better condition but there are no group shots.
My photos came out fuzzy due to some jacka$$ jumping straight in front of me and I had to move a reset, with no time these were hand held and not on the tripod. Poor lighting, slow apt. speed, etc led to fuzzier shots than hoped for.
I have to shut down and restart the comp. and see if I can get the pics modified.
If I can't get it now then it will be done tonight.

Know it is difficult to call just using pictures, but it looks like Eric was a bit tighter last month than here. But still looks good, and has the size market cornered. James Juge actually looks best condition wise, especially from the back. Hams are popping on him. Rooting for Eric to win the class.
It will be a fight for the masters overall. If Lance Johnson wins his class, his thickness and conditioning could finally put him over the top. But we never know until the judges finally call it.
