Hi everyone. Just dropping a note to remind us what we so often forget. A past friend and co worker of Jens just passed away this past weekend of a heart attack. He was riding his bike down in Cape Cod. He was ONLY 38!!!! This is VERY sad news. At the same time this is a reminder to all of us to go out and live our dreams. LOVE those that mean the world to you. Make sure they know EACH and EVERY day! Do everything you ever wanted to do. make yourself and everyone around you happy! Dont ever put something off for another day. If you have the opportunity to do something (even if it is to please someone else) DO IT! This life we lead is NO dress rehersal!
- Peace...

Rubes...you got that right buddy!
That's why they call it the "present". It's a "gift" of time to us that shouldn't be wasted.
That's why my wife and I are going back to California at the end of the month. We went there for our anniversary 31 years ago.
I just want to walk on the beach with my baby (it would be really cool if the Beach Boys were walking behind us singing too).
Thanks for the reminder Rubes..get the word out.
Makes ya just want to run up and hug somebody!

Amen, guys! Life is definitely way too short. We have to make the most of each day.
Sounds like a great trip for you and Bernie, Frank. Hope you both have a great time.

My freinds, Certainly have to live in the present, I mean, after all, if we lived in the past: Mo and M-E would only speak French. Vince would have hair. And Tim...well I guess either way, Tim would still be old! Kidding aside...life marches on. We can't change the past, and we can't live there either. And time stands still for know one. So, a good thought would be, that all of us should be "real", every day. Go for it. Pull no punches. Carpe' Diem. When you hug your significant other, look them in the eye, [glow=red,2,300] savor[/glow] the moment. They may not be here tomorrow. When you have the opportunity to help someone. Do it. You may not have the means or the foresight tomorrow. And when you're in the gym, make every lift, every drop of sweat count. You could get injured (ahem, trust me on this one!) or disabled and not be able to lift tomorrow. You are ALL champions....either on stage, or the platform, or in life. Let your time and unconditional love shine through....THAT will be your trophy to carry into eternity. Frank

Thanks for this post RUBES!!! I have spend times in my life NOT living in the present.
I was pretty active on this board a year and a half or more ago and was living in the present. However, I am someone who takes like MUCH to seriously sometimes and is easily overwhelmed with change or new things. I spent about the last year year worrying about what COULD be and isn't and how things SHOULD be and aren't. I can tell you that you cannot do that- it's destructive.. well... and one HUGE waste of time. I dumped that way of thinking about 4 months ago and the benfits have come in many aspects of life. Better relationships, better and NEW friendships, and great success in bodybuilding.
Live in the present. Thanks again Randy.

You are so right and I am glad to hear you are taking a new path! Its a short life we live. This world has many GREAT things to offer. Sometimes we are blinded by all the bad, but around every corner is something great. You dont even have to seek it out. Its right there infront of each and every one of us!

Big Mike....Welcome Back Brother!
I find I take a significant amount of time assisitng others with "attitude checks", especially my wife. (this can be dangerous at times!)
When people start talking in the negative, kindly and tactfully, turn their words into positive thoughts. Guide them onto a path of positive energy...AND it all starts with us. To speak and act in the positive as much as we can.
Now, we're all human and have those down days, but without sounding really goofy, "turn that frown upside down!" (man that souns stupid, but it is true!) Surprising how you can turn a negative conversation positive just by smiling as you speak.
Glad you're back Mike. Join actively into this wonderful community. Love hearing from you!
See what you started Rubes......Ain't it great! ;D
