OK Mo...here goes:
Babes, spandex, ...oh...sorry wrong dream gym.....let me start again ;D
First: Would love to have ALL of YOU there.
Second: All of the things Mo said...PLUS....
I'd like to say a few things that I wouldn't want there......
~People who THINK they are hard core, but have no clue what that means. You know the ones.....walks around with a puffed up chest, but has no physique and the worst chicken legs you've ever seen.
~People with bad attitudes, disrespecting other lifters.
~People hogging the equipment, won't work in with you, and don't even know what it's for (Don't curl in my squat rack!)
~Broken or poorly maintained equipment.
~Overcrowded equipment or people causing safety hazards.
~There's more, but you have the idea.
Now...a few other things I'd like to see:
~ A clean gym.
~Sufficient equipment for the number of members there to use.
~Good Music, chalk, clean air, air conditioned when needed, heated when needed.
~Chains, Bands, etc.
~A place to sit with other members to talk AFTER your workout.
~ Place to heat your food.
~Sufficient shower/rest room facilities.
~Sauna, tanning, Massage, Experienced Massage Therapist.
~A well organized gym..ie:
Leg equipment together, and spaced properly.
Upper body togehter, spaced properly.
Core equipment together, spcaed properly.
Cardio equipment together, spaced properly.
~ Experienced trainers, nutritionist on staff.
~Gym store (equipment, clothing, supplements, etc)
~Testing equipment (BodPod, calipers, etc)
~Posing room with sufficient mirrors.
~MORE then one power rack, cross cable machine, Smith machine, etc.
I'm sure there is more, but you asked for a "perfect" gym, and I'm not sure that that exists, so we make due with what we can.
Oh yea,,,and don't forget the Babes, spandex, etc... (Hey...whatever gives ya motivation to get ya through your workout!
