Learning a new language isn't easy! Here are some examples that will show you why I'm often confused!
If you have a breakfast in Montreal... dont be shocked if you hear someone asking for PAIN :-) (Means bread)
If you tell someone you caught the FLU... here, it means you have DIARREA! :-)
CAVE for you: A large hollow place in the side of a hill CAVE for us: Stupid person! :-)
By the way, my cereals make Cric Crac Croc... not Crack Snapple Pop!!!! :-)
If you prononce G we hear J... and if you prononce J we hear G :-)
If you prononce Q... it means "ass" for us :-)
Now you understand why I sometimes sound weird... :-)

I understand Mo! It can be VERY confusing. In Polish...your aunt is called, " Cho-Cha" (sp?) But in Spanish, that is slang for a certain part of a womans anatony! Gotta be careful! I have a picture of with me and my grandchildren at a petting zoo. We are all standing next to a donkey, scratching his back....BUT.. When I tell people that that is me and the kids just scratching our ass...they look at me really funny! ;D

English is probably as confusing as any other language! So many words that have more than one meaning (like right, meaning opposite of left and also means correct)!
You sound OK to me, MO!
