Yes it is very sad,they just had one of his friends on the evening news. We used to be fascinated watching this guy wrestle man eating crocs and poisonous snakes. I'm sure we will now get a repeat of his many series of 'Crocodile Hunter'-well worth the watch. Apparently he got too close to the ray and it turned on him,the barb went straight into his chest..very sad indeed.

Shocking, he lived a dangerous life and probably would have wanted to die this way, not at 44 though!!!!! Very sad for his family.

I feel sad and sorry for his family..................but you have to expect this kind of thing when you play witrh dangerous animals because animals have no rules and could care less about a camera.
The guy was cool, and I loved his show.
